"First, I almost never leave negative reviews. It's not in my nature. And, importantly, hotel staff were awesome, friendly, and salt of the earth. Every interaction with them was positive. Also, the attached restaurant (not owned by the hotel) was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the free breakfast daily. The room condition, however, was shabby and dirty, despite being in the renovated section of the hotel. We had to keep the entry light off because it flickered nonstop. My white socks turned dark from walking on the plank floor. Next to the head of the bed, I picked up a crinkled dryer sheet (no big deal), only to find an old, dust-covered sleep mask that had been there for who knows how long. The shower floor was dirty and had long black hair from prior guests. Finally, the desk chair was in terrible shape. It was mind-boggling that any hotel would allow it in a room. It looked like something you would find on the side of the road with a "free" sign. It was a black vinyl-covered chair with 2/3 of the covering cracked and peeled off, leaving the white backing exposed underneath. When you sat in the chair, pieces of the covering would fall off onto the floor. I saw a photo of the chair (or a similar one?) in another review and similar reviews about cleanliness. I understand it can be hard to find workers, but if you can't keep the rooms clean, it would be smarter to book fewer rooms, ensuring repeat guests. It seems like solid management could come in and get things ship-shape. "

"We were really impressed the kitchen had everything you could need for an extended stay. The pool felt great although you did have guest skimming the pool through the day. But over the stay was great the restaurant creosote was amazing and having the shuttle was awesome too. Great overall experience "
