Staff was excellent but the property is in a sad state. The rooms need renovations horribly. While I understand they are remodeling it would have been nice to know the state of the property when making reservations on Expedia.

The hot tub was broken. We waited 2 hrs. To get breakfast served to us. I was afraid that it sat too long and I would get salmonella if we ate it. Didn't go back the second morning.

The only negative thing I have to say was that my room smelled like cigarettes and I’m a non smoker. Loved the stay though. The check in staff was so friendly and memorable. I would stay here again.

Clean safe easy to navigate.

We enjoyed our Stay Barbara checked us in and went above and beyond to accommodate 4 older folks. We were there to reconnect pray and look for housing.

I understand that half of the hotel was under renovation which caused some issues but other factors also caused some issues. We were staying for 10 days so these issues were inconvenient. Our first night the air conditioner didn't work in our room so that night was very uncomfortable and we weren't able to move to another room. During our 10 day stay the ice machines on the first or second floor were not working, they did not have them repaired during our entire stay which seemed unacceptable. Getting ice from the front desk was a bother for us as well as the front desk personnel. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't have working ice machines. The hotel just barely met our needs and hope they finish with the renovations soon as the rooms that were open were barely adequate as far as cleanliness and overall condition. I do not recommend this hotel until the renovations are completed.

I might have given 4 stars if it were not for one weird incident: At check-in, I was given keys to a room that was already occupied! First time this happened in over several hundred hotel stays in many countries over three decades!!! I can't imagine how this could have happened in these days of computerized systems. Otherwise, staff were friendly, free breakfast was served at the table with decent selections.

Hotel needs an upgrade

The seat of the office chair in our room was ripped & very worn. The towels at the pool were torn & stained. There was a folding to sit on at the pool along with one metal in the hot Az sun along with one worn, stained patio chair. We were told the hotel is getting an upgrade. Perhaps having some pool lounge chairs, decent towels & no office chair at all would be an upgrade before the upgrade!

Staff report they requested pool furniture over a year ago and corporate hasn't complied. We chose this hotel for the pool due to temps near 100s but what a drag..spent vacation in an old room. The place needs revamped and I want a refund. Plus hire a maintenance person.
