“Fantastic hotel. Right on are next to Slea Head drive. So much nicer than staying in Dingle town. Incredibly friendly staff. Highly recommend!!”

“All was good except the room size. We had a Deluxe Double room which is so small that there wasn't any reasonable space for our two carry-on suitcases - the only suitcases we had. We had to put one under the small desk and one in the corner of the bed and window. With the suitcase being closed, it partially blocked the already narrow path to the other side of the bed. It was quite an inconvenience. To be fair, the hotel's listing provides information of the room size. But it still surprised me...

“Small village in unique position lose to Mt Brandon and the ocean. Access via O’Connor Pass from Dingle. Not at all touristy although lots of walkers and cyclists. Guesthouse has all necessary amenities but it is an old building. Rooms were private and very quiet even though there was trad music in the pub below. Food great.”

“We wanted a home base instead of moving around from one hotel to another while we explored this part of Ireland. The Dingle Skellig hotel is in the perfect location if you do not want to be in the center of all the activity. It’s a short ten minute walk to town. After a long day it was wonderful to unwind away from the noise. We requested a sea view room and enjoyed having coffee as we watched the world wake up. “The breakfast was one of the best we had in Ireland. The staff was also extremely friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the area and very caring. My only suggestion would be to change the carpet out for a more sustainable floor such as vinyl wood flooring as some carpet had stains on it but that is hard to avoid on white carpet. Another thing would be to put a fresh coat of paint on the walls as well as this would freshen up the place also. Overall a very comfortable and safe place to...
