"Das angeschlossene Restaurant "Al Dente" können wir sehr empfehlen. Das Hotel ist so la la. Pro Zimmer gebe es nur eine Nachtischlampe, wurde uns gesagt, als wir um eine zweite Lampe baten. Auch für Doppelzimmer! Die Matratze fühlte sich wie ein Wasserbett. Wenn der Partner sich dreht, wakelt das ganze Bett. Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig. Das Wasser tröpfelte nur langsam. Sollten wir wieder nach Jessen reisen, suchen wir uns ein anderes Hotel."

"Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...

"Had a one night stay as we were driving through the area. Cons: No AC in the room, and it was WARM. Old and rock hard beds. Rooms were very loud, and i could hear my neightbour snoring just as well as i heard the traffic from the autobahn. Breakfast was ok. Not too much to choose from, but for the price of the stay i guess it was ok. Pros: Easy and accessible parking. Friendly staff. "Rooms weren’t very clean. Ants in the room for example. Staff weren’t very friendly upon check in. We came in at 6.30pm and asked if we could eat in the restaurant. We hardly was allowed dinner as they were closing down. So we rushed through dinner and generally didn’t feel very welcome. Beds were poor and rooms felt very old. And it wasn’t even very affordable. Not coming back. "
