"No restaurant service on weekends, but breakfast available each day. Housekeeping every three days unless you request additional help. Breakfast was extensive and on par with other European hotels. Parking would have been easy, but as a pedestrian the hotel is a good 20 minutes to half an hour walk from the center of town. There is an extensive bus service which I didn't use."

"It was a delightful stay. The hotel had a classic Dutch feel and an old fashioned style that I liked. The room was good , not enormous but a good size. It was quiet at night ( unlike Amsterdam city centre) I waoud highly recommend the Martini hotel"

"We loved our stay here. Perfect location in the city for exploring. Hotel itself was spacious and nicely designed. Felt very classic as opposed to more modern hotels which can sometimes feel cramped. Amazing restaurant and bar area with beautiful architecture to reflect the old post office building. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient always. Room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Will return on next visit to Friesland."

"Chose this hotel for a one night stopover largely because it had a pool and after 6 hours driving (shared) being able to relax and have a swim sounded like a good idea. Booked a Lux room which was a relatively new addition to the hotel and it was really lovely great shower room and very spacious with a small outside space. The pool was one of the nicest hotel pools good size and nice relaxed pool loungers. We had one issue being woken at 7.30 by someone with an industrial floor cleaner doing the corridor outside our room. Housekeeping really need to rethink that"
