"The room was so hot we had to open the window as we couldn’t breathe & that was after we had turned the radiators off! The emergency lighting came on about 4am & it was so bright we couldn’t get back to sleep! We spent the night in the bar & there was only 1 young barmaid on & she struggled at times to cope & to know which glass to use for our drinks! Bonus they were reasonably priced! Room, Toilet and shower very clean. Tea and coffee in the room was always replenished.
The fan system air and refrigeration from the kitchen in the Beefeater was very loud especially at 05:30 AM. All in all I can recommend this hotel. 8 minutes with a Taxi to the train station."
