"It’s quite a unique property nestled up at the foot of the mountains. It feels like being in Mexico - both for the vegetation and the architecture. The bar up the hill is great and the nighttime patio dining is very convivial. Notable were the pastas. Staff was also super friendly. We also had great massages. "We spent our honeymoon here and it was extremely special. Lovely and quiet which was expected as it was the shoulder season. We were upgraded which made our stay extra special. The restaurant serves beautiful food, the vegetables and herbs are fresh from the gardens around the hotel. The staff were incredible, our Italian wasn’t brilliant but we all made an effort and were able to understand one another. Definitely recommend this hotel if you like your hiking and cycling, or just relaxation!"
