Excellent hotel

Every time we are going to Dortmund we book this hotel. It’s clean, staff friendly, breakfast delicious. Location perfect. Normally we check in online the day before which means at the hotel the check in takes only a minute. Everything just perfect.

Location of the hotel is excellent, 2 minute walk from the Trainstation, also possible to walk to citycenter from hotel. Hotell is good and excellent bed.

Everyone staff member are very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and efficient. At the reception they are happy to help with everything. 3 minutes away from the main station and 5 minutes away from the city centre.

It was clean and comfortable. The downside was that the room was very small and it was very warm - although there was a fan. As there was a kettle and coffee maker, it would have been good to have had some tea bags/coffee

Great option for a group of four adults. Large with two bathrooms made our stay comfortable. The door only locked with the key so if someone didn’t go with the rest of the group we had to schedule ourselves to be back at the same time or it leave the apartment. Two keys would be nice. That was the only down side.

Good Value with Nice Breakfast

The hotel had recently changed names and evidently upgraded some of the facilities. Overall, the superior single that I had was very comfortable, and although not a large room was perfect for one person. Very nice bathroom with full shower, including rain head. The breakfast was very plentiful and tasty. A wide variety of cold salads on the breakfast bar, along with eggs and sausages. They noted they had gluten-free and I saw some muesli and one package of some sort of wafers, but I did not see any gluten-free bread or anything else or a mention of it. Also, unlike most hotels, the orange juice at this location was very watered down and odd compared to other places I have been recently. With those two minor comments, overall the breakfast facility is very well maintained as a great selection of food and I would definitely return.

Charged me 40 Euros for a child even though the 3rd and the 4th guest were free. The reason was that they were going to put a special bed for the child. That was not the case, i have photos and videos which i wish i could share. Cleaning staff was understaffed, our room was not ready on time. Another day had to ask twice for towels. Talking about understaffed, the receptionists were also the bartenders LOL. If you wanted a drink at the bar you had to wait for the receptionist to finish check-in people or guests questions. They had this system to open the door with an app which half of the time it wasn't working. I asked for a physical key and was told that they could not give more than one... but then I saw another family receiving multiple keys. Other than that, the location was great.

Great customer service

Every staff we dealt with were fantastic. The check in was quick, the receptionist were very helpful and professional. The room was clean, the whole hotel is clean. Great location. I’d recommend to opt in for breakfast, enough selection and very tasty.

Great hotel!

Had a great time at Big MAMA in Dortmund. Staff were friendly and very helpful, room was great and it’s a great spot for getting about in the city easily.
