“The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. One of the things I enjoyed most was its location among the vineyards. Stepping outside and walking through the surrounding area offered beautiful views of the Douro landscape and made for a truly relaxing experience.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The food was also excellent.

“If you come to visit the Douro because of the Port wine culture, then this property won't disappoint you. Five generations of viticulturalists have lovingly developed this beautiful Pousada over the centuries and as you go through the property, it oozes charm. “Wonderful!! We had a hard time choosing where to stay and we feel we picked the perfect spot. The property was very clean, and the staff was AMAZING!! The kids really enjoyed the pool after spending a week in crowded cities and we loved walking through the vineyards with the beautiful views. We went to dinner at a recommended restaurant in nearby Lamego and it was perfect. We would highly recommend Casa da Azenha for a Douro Valley stay. ”

“This bnb is a gem in every way. The location in the historic district is perfect. You can walk everywhere. Car parking is very easy on the street. The bnb itself is stunning and comfortable. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was like none other we have ever seen. The host was friendly and helpful, and her breakfast was remarkable!
