Especial mas custo muito desajustado

O que nos levou a agendar esta estadia foi a incrível reabilitação que fizeram das ruínas ao lado do Castelo de Marialva e a junção a uma arquitectura contemporânea que não poderia estar mais bem conseguida. Casas muito originais no interior , espaço social do hotel ao nível de 5 estrelas, com uma decoração que impressiona. Contudo, para este valor de estadia era obrigatório o acesso à piscina e ao SPA estar incluído. Nem mesmo em hotéis de 5 estrelas observamos esta prática que contribuiu para voltar a repetir a experiência. O interior da casa ainda assim poderia estar mais bem decorado e com mais qualidade nos materiais. Os preços estão completamente desajustados. É no entanto um alojamento único

Quiet country getaway

This is a very lovely property overlooking vineyards and the countryside. There is not much in the area, but it is a wonderful place for a quite getaway. The staff is very nice and the facilities are beautiful-large swimming pool, lovely lounge areas, spacious rooms and baths, and a lovely restaurant with outdoor patio seating. Other than biking and hiking there is not much to do, but for a relaxing elegant getaway this is the place

An interestingly different place

This is an interesting place. It's built into a lot of stone buildings that date back a good way. But the interiors are what you'd expect from a modern hotel or inn. We arrived late because the hotel room we'd booked got flooded. The staff was very accommodating - even though we arrived late, they fed us roast beef sandwiches. The area was a really nice place to walk around and explore, though easy to get lost because you're wandering through old stone buildings. Breakfast was good, but it seemed to always be good in Portugal.

Uma aldeia recuperada de 5 estrelas!

Belissimo lugar para se passar uma noite dos namorados :) Fomos gentilmente recebidos e ofereceram-nos um upgrade do quarto pois o hotel não estava cheio, o que foi muito agradável. Foi disponibilizado um quarto com lareira que ligámos o que ainda trouxe mais romantismo ao lugar. Sempre se dispuseram para aceder aos nossos pedidos (SPA, jantar e late check-out) e o tratamento foi mesmo 5 estrelas. O Spa foi espetacular, muito relaxante. O jantar foi muito bom, saboroso e variado (as migas de tomate estavam maravilhosas) e para rematar como tinha uma teleconferencia às 13 disponibilizaram-se para que ficássemos nos aposentos até acabar para não haver stress. Muitissimo bom. Durante a manha ainda visitámos o castelo e os arredores que, por ser dia da semana, estava praticamente só para nós! Uma bela estadia à qual agradecemos ao staff todo o apoio e carinho prestado. Altamente recomendado.

We stayed here with our daughter for 3 days during a graduation trip to Portugal. The property is stunning and the staff is excellent. My daughter and I also had a massage in the spa, which was great. It's a bit far removed, but we still used the location to tour the Douro Valley. The views and drives were spectacular. We had to leave early our final morning and the staff packed us a lovely breakfast to take with us. Don't miss this place, it is a gem.

Hotel de Aldeia num lugar belissimo

Estive no Rusticae Casas do Coro. Um hotel situado numa vila medieval muito charmosa onde há um castelo e a aldeia onde ficam as casas do hotel. O hotel todo é muito elegante. Possui um bom café da manhã. O jantar - apesar de gostoso - é caro e com poucas opções. O quarto possui camas de solteiro que se convertem em cama de casal mas o sistema é falho pois fica um grande espaço entre os colchões e os mesmos se movem sobre o estrado da cama. Havia uma infiltração no banheiro de forma que mofou a parede do quarto.

Excelente hotel, com ótimo restaurante

Maravilhoso jantar com menu degustação de quatro vinhos de produção local, encantadora "aldeia" histórica, visita as ruinas do castelo de Marialva e sua linda capela de pedra. Fomos extremamente bem recebidos e tratamento irreparável. Recomendo.

Relax com qualidade ímpar

Empreendimento simplesmente espetacular. Devidamente enquadrado nas muralhas de Marialva, tem um ambiente único e propício ao relax. Os espaços exteriores estão muito bem cuidados as casas e demais habitações foram recuperadas com muito gosto. Os quartos estão equipados com materiais de elevada qualidade e o serviço prima pelo profissionalismo e pela simpatia. Nota mais, igualmente, pela qualidade do pequeno almoço e do jantar.

Nice stay in rural Portugal

Rustic accommodation in secluded rural Portugal. This is not a hotel but a number of small villas rented by the room (each with its own bathroom). Feels like staying in a private village. Lovely grounds, breakfast and dinner both excellent (only breakfast is included). Service from staff is excellent. Resort amenities very good. Extras are quite expensive for Portugal (dinner is ~€60pp for four courses plus matched wine). Room air conditioning is central and shared with rest of building (not individual for room). Building power failed twice during three night stay leaving air conditioning and lights non-working. Fixed fairly quickly both times but got the impression this was a regular occurrence. Rooms are very basic but this felt in keeping with the rural setting! Selection of activities that staff can arrange for you such as bike ride and picnic at sunset (prices but felt very romantic). Overall, if looking for a quiet getaway would stay again.
