Luxury tent with electricity and heating/air-con.

Heated and air-con tents with electricity and lighting. Lovely bar and separate restaurant. Received a huge welcome. Sahara desert is 4 mins walk where you find camels and buggies. There is a hot spring in the centre of the village free for all to swim in 2 mins walk. I hired a 4x4 trip from reception and journeyed into the Sahara for 3 hours. Peaceful, lovely pool and gardens. Quiet. Wake up to the fresh air and birds singing.

Hotel Pansy was just awesome! The host was incredibly helpful, communicating before our trip to answer our questions and to help us find activity providers while we were in the desert. He checked in with us to make sure we were happy every day and couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The restaurant had tasty Tunisian food in a set menu. The pool was gorgeous, surrounded by palms and the tent we stayed in was comfortable and nicely decorated, with air con when the electricity is switched on over night. It was cool through the day as it was well insulated. The site is minutes walk from the oasis hot spring, quad biking operators and camels to ride, plus on the edge of the desert to watch the sun rise/set over the dunes. Some reviews have complained about power etc - this is definitely an adventure retreat rather than a luxury hotel (which would cost a lot more in this remote setting!) So some elements are a bit basic which you should be aware of when booking. Our stay was simply magical and we loved it all! Thank you Hotel Pansy!

Très mauvaise expérience à l’Hôtel Pansy. Le personnel n’est pas professionnel du tout et le service laisse fortement à désirer. La chambre était sale à notre arrivée et elle est restée dans le même état pendant tout le séjour. On a clairement l’impression que la direction ne cherche que l’argent, sans se soucier du confort ni de la satisfaction des clients. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel.

Ottimo soggiorno

Positivo: struttura piacevole. Tenda molto ampia. Bagno ampio. Tutto pulito. Parcheggio vicino. Negativo: elettricità attiva solo dalle 19:30. Quindi niente luce, niente caricabatterie, niente aria condizionata fino a quell’ora. Piscina non balneabile ad aprile (inaccettabile col caldo. Che fa). La colazione non era il massimo. Una sola presa elettrica un tenda ed una in bagno.
