"Gate to the Northwest Passage" is a 1980 sculpture by Alan Chung Hung located adjacent to the Vancouver Maritime Museum in Vanier Park.

The work was installed in 1980 to commemorate the arrival of Captain George Vancouver in Burrard Inlet, following a competition sponsored by Parks Canada one year prior.

According to Chung Hung: "The objective of the sculpture is to create a symbolic image with definite visual expression, awakening an awareness in Captain George Vancouver's contribution to the world, his remarkable and meticulous surveys which included the north Pacific coast."

False Creek runs from English Bay up to the Science Center. There's now a walking and bike path that runs completely around False Creek - from English Bay, past Yaletown, around the Science Center, and up to Granville Island and beyond.

False Creek used to be Vancouver's industrial inner harbour. One-hundred years later, it has been retrofit and renovated and gentrified. Some of the architecture preserves that history. What remains now is a peaceful places where sky and sea meet. Ringed with places for coffee, places to sit and look at the sea and sky change as big and small boats move in and out of the inner harbour.

"For Gold service the lounge should be open 24/7 like the one at the YVR airport and put the alcohol away after 10pm- 7am. And have the mini bar free of charge in the room. It honestly wouldn’t cost the hotel that much for a WOW experience, and also having the mini unlock so you don’t need to phone the front desk. Last thing $10 for a mini bag of chip is a bit overpriced. You probably don’t sell alot of chips, must be just for show ;-) "

"we really enjoyed our stay at Le Soleil not only their rooms is clean ,spacious, elegant and have nice ,comfortable bed/ beddings that you want yo stay in bed the whole time their bathrooms are also nice and clean . the staff are also thoughtful gave me complimentary wine for my birthday . will stay again at their hotel for its reasonable price and beautiful rooms "
