“I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

“When we arrived, the room we were initially given had a few things that still needed to be cleaned so we called the front desk to make them aware and see if we could just get someone to clean it. The front desk promptly called back and offered us an upgrade instead. Not only did they come and look at it themselves, but they showed us to the cabin we'd be in and were extremely kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a stellar experience! We will definitely be back! ”

“We're used to going to the front desk and checking in. None of that, which was a little weird, but everything went smooth. Had no problems. Rooms and the rest of the facility was super clean! anytime we had a question we texted our host/hostess and were able to get an answer in a relatively short time. I would definitely stay there again, and will.”

“We enjoy staying at the Horton Hotel in Boone, NC. The rooftop bar is so fun! The beds are comfortable, showers are big, and have complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There is also complimentary hand soap and lotion. Complimentary coffee and breakfast. Walkable to all if downtown Boone and App State campus. Overall it is excellent! ”
