Non ho potuto vivere l'hotel come le altre volte in quanto eravamo ospiti per i pranzi e le cene dai parenti in zona. In hotel eravamo pochi clienti ed il personale era pertanto il minimo indispensabile

Mi aspettavo altro

Ho prenotato una camera doppia superior di 26 mq con letto matrimoniale e vasca a totale immersione ma mi è stata assegnata una camera piccola, con letto di una piazza e mezzo e senza vasca. Nella sala colazione, prevista fino alle 10.30, già alle 9.15 non veniva più rifornita e ci siamo accontentati di yougurt e caffè. La location in compenso è molto bella e la zona tranquilla per rilassarsi.

Hotel di classe, immerso nel verde

Devo dire che sono rimasto più o meno soddisfatto della struttura. La camera è risultata però piccola, anche alla luce del prezzo non da tutti a notte e con finestra senza vista, cosa che ci si aspetta da una struttura del genere, in mezzo alle colline circostanti. Per il resto pulizia ottima, anche se la colazione mi ha deluso.

Hotel in posizione splendida

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte durante un giro in moto, solo il ristorante vale la sosta, dotato di piscina attrezzatissima, gli altri servizi in linea con un quattro stelle, buona pulizia, personale gentilissimo, nel complesso esperienza positiva .

pulizia della camera davvero pessima, colazione disastrosa (uova sode ...bruciate! non so neppure come sia possibile). era la seconda volta che soggiornavo qui...e anche l'ultima.

Prachtige locatie.

Zeer gastvrij ontvangen door het personeel, snel geholpen en een duidelijke uitleg. Hotelkamer was wat aan de gedateerde kant. Klein gammel bed, vieze kitranden in de badkamer, douchekop houder die ik eerst zelf vast moest draaien, roestige radiator en dat soort kleinigheidjes. Verder was het erg gehorig, dit alles hoort natuurlijk bij de charme van een oud historisch gebouw. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid met vers fruit, vers sap en heerlijke zoetigheden. Ook hier werd de professionaliteit en behulpzaamheid weer bevestigd. Altijd met een lach op het gezicht de verzoeken en vragen van gasten beantwoorden. Het zwembad met bijbehorende faciliteiten is helemaal top, genoeg ligbedden en zitplaatsen en een uitgebreide zwembadbar voor een hapje of een drankje. Kortom: Plusplunt: Prachtige locatie met uitstekende faciliteiten en vriendelijk personeel. Minpunt: ietswat oud, gehorig en gedateerde kamer (s).

Anche la colazione non era il massimo, quasi esclusivamente roba dolce. Gli ascensori erano vecchi, piccoli e non molto puliti ed anche l'arredo delle camere necessita di un restyling.

-Doppelzimmer gebucht und bezahlt, Einzelzimmer mit 140cm-Bett erhalten -freitags und samstags ist Partytime (500 Ortsansässige feiern sehr exquisit), als Hotelgast kein Zutritt und man ist unerwünscht, Pool + Terrasse + Aussenanlagen + Restaurant dürfen wegen Party nicht genutzt werden -absolutes Parkplatzchaos + Höllenlärm -Frühstück am Wochenende erst ab 7:30, aber vor 8:00 kein Personal da -wegen Hochzeitsfeiern konnten sonntags Pool + Terrasse + Aussenanlagen + Restaurant nicht genutzt werden --> echt schade für das viele Geld!

Nice facilities with easy access to town

Very pleasant stay. Facilities are clean, plenty of parking. A lovely pool that we were not able to use as it was cool in late September during our visit. Breakfast was good - the standard for Italy. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. There was good access if you are driving to restaurants in the town.

Beautiful grounds, ok value

Lovely property, but hotel a little shabby. Restaurant was terrible! Limited menu, overpriced and bad food(they take al'dente to an extreme!) along with bad service.

Great service in an old hotel

Fantastic service from staff that is absolutely amazing! But... The rooms are far behind. Air conditioning worked in one of the three (!) rooms we stayed in and is very noisy. The beds are extremely noisy and will wake you up. The furniture in the rooms are very old and literary falls apart. Would I recommend you to stay here? Well, we where biking and walking around in the surroundings and it is lovely. But the hotel is not close to anything, closest village is 30 min walk away. Go here if you don't care for a modern room and the service is most important to you because the service is simply PERFECT!

A lovely one night stay with nice pool

We came to Monte del Re on a Monday to avoid any event in the hotel and it was nice and quiet. We came around noon and we knew that room was to be ready by 2pm. We asked if we could stay at the pool for the time and it was ok. We enjoyed the pool area so much that we stayed there much longer and had a nice lunch at the pool. Pool water was clean and cool, which was good as weather was sunny and 34 degrees. The only thing to mention is that sun unbrellas could not be opened because of strong wind time to time - we understood it. The room was a bit small but enough for us and it was clean. Air conditioning worked very well. The staff were very friedly. Buffet breakfast was above average Italian breakfast with also omelettes, joghurt and fruits. The hotel grounds and surroundings are very beautiful. We would certainly recommend the hotel to others, but you might want to check for any events (e.g. weddings) beforehand.

Luxurious inn in Emilia-Romagna region of Italy

This place is gorgeous! The staff are all incredibly helpful. . .especially Phillippe and Maria Teresa. It's an old convent that has been converted into a hotel so there are a few creaks here and there, but overall this place rocks! Great food, great beverages, EVERYONE is helpful, and the setting is magical--rolling hills of Emilia-Romagna all around you as you sip wine and enjoy the passage of time. Stay here. . .you will love it and never want to leave. . .few tourists. . .mostly Italians doing what Italians do be: look good. Salut!

Must read!

This property is beautiful. The outside has breathtaking views of the Italian countryside. We ate dinner at the restaurant and again, exceptional food. The waitress was very kind but we ordered a wine tasting with our meal and she mixed up the description of a couple if the wines. We didnt tell her though because she served them in the correct order. Things got worse frim there. The staff failed ti mention to us that they were having a discotek that evening by the pool (which our room was facing). By midnight we were exhausted but couldnt sleep as the noise level was extreme. Apparently this goes on every wednsday evening through the summer. When I went ti the frint desk to complain and ask to be moved my request was denied. We were asked to be patient as the disco would end around 2am. Also to note I asked to speak with the manager (philippe Silva) and the employee at the desk could not find him. The next morning on check out I asked ti speak with him again, finally he came out. As I tried to explain my dissatisfaction he was argumentative and at times accusatory. After explaining myself at least 4 times he finally offered ti discount 50% if our dinner from the evening before. Not very accomodating to guests in my book.
