“Room was clean and presentable room smelled nice an fresh when we came back after our day out staff were friendly Valerie was a good host lovely breakfasts each day and great parking at the back well secured loved it”

“This is a budget hotel with no reception staff, limited bar opening times and located on a busy main road with much traffic noise.”

“The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The thing that let it down was the food. A lot of the courses were tasteless including the main breakfast. The only other thing we did not like was the shower, climbing in and out a bath. Also could not open the windows in.the room when it got warm”

“- The shale beach across the road was the most amazing I have ever seen. - The menu is misleading. My husband wanted NO ALCOHOL beer because he is allergic to alcohol. The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it.”

“Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...
