"This is the perfect place to stay in Korčula. Not in the middle of busy Old Town but just outside the main entrance and overlooking the harbor. "The hotel Odisej is positoned at the waterfront for direct access to the sea and boasts commanding views of Pomena bay which is stunning, particularly at sunset. It is also located just seconds from the foot passenger ferry drop off which is extremely convenient and only a short walk from the national park entrance. The national park is essentially 2 salt lakes which are fantastic for swimming in as well as featuring an old monastery on an island. Reception sells the park entrance tickets which were valid for the entirety of our 10 night stay. The swimming area in front of the hotel was very busy and loungers were reserved with towels from early in the morning but there's also a lot of flat rock with overhanging trees for shade a short walk along the bay. The water is clear and good for snorkeling with plenty of juvenile fish and other small life. The rooms aren't huge, the bathroom was especially very compact but they are comfortable and clean. The real wood furniture and fixtures are actually very high quality and stylish. In general the hotel could do with some updating such as room keycard entry which was still physical key. There was a couple of power outages during our stay and the backup power kicked in very quickly. The staff are very friendly and caring and there's a nice atmosphere around the place. Food was good and plentiful and I recommed taking half board as restaurants nearby are not cheap. The hotel pizzeria was our go to for lunch. Lovely place and service."
