Amazing service at front desk, great room and pool. Only downside was the noise from the nearby beach club into the night. I paid to upgrade my room to have a beach facing balcony but i’m not quite sure if it was worth it due to the music. Only stayed for two nights so I made the best of it.

This is very good option if you’re looking for a smaller boutique-style hotel in a sea of mega size large hotel chains on the Palm. What made this place stand out for me was the staff. Reviewers often mention it but the staff at Voco go above and beyond. In particular CM and Glenys who helped me with everything from room quietness, to Dubai suggestions and a later check out since I had a late flight back. One other highlight of the hotel is their restaurant ‘Maison Mathis’. Diverse tasty food options, reasonable prices for Dubai and fantastic servers.
