Double check with the hotel
This hotel no longer works with hotels.com so could not fulfill the booking. Had a very stressful 90 minutes whilst we awaited hotels.com to sort something out, which to their credit they did, but it’s not an experience I’d wish for anyone
Single room was very dated. Stained carpet. Window in room was dirty. Bathroom badley fitted lino with mould on ceiling and in the shower.
Main light worked at times. Plug socket gave if sparks.Breakfast bacon sausages mushrooms black and white pudding was all deep fried.
Check in was fine and the staff were friendly. When I got to the room it was terible. The carpet was damaged, there were marks on the wall. The TV signal was rubbish.
When i looked at the bathroom and opened the door there was a black bug on the floor, the shower didnt have a holder for the head so i had to hold the shower head to have a shower.
The staff did come in and make the bed in the morning. Tea and coffee supplied.
We really liked the central location, the price was excellent and there was a lovely friendly pub immediately below.

Bon rapport emplacement/prix
Room was absolutely freezing all day and night. After I complained to the reception I was told they would look into the heating, but never did. The room itself had stains all over the carpet, the mirror had these black stains all over it, almost as if someone had been burning it. The celling was falling apart. Also the bed had hairs all over the sheet which did not belong to me or my partner. I am really disappointed as is my partner and its very safe to say we will never stay at this hotel ever again.
This hotel is in an excellent position in the centre of Dublin. It is a bit dated, but very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. A full breakfast with juice and coffee was good value at €9.99.

The accommodation was nice. Small but fine for the price. Room warmed up with the heater ok. Smell of fresh paint was disturbing. Tried to change rooms but no acceptable option available. No compensation given. Manager should air out the room until paint smell has faded. Service was fine.

Our room was in a dilapidated condition, actually quite shocking when walking in. The bathroom in particular was awful, no amount of cleaning could make this room hygienic, see photos. All bathroom fixtures had been ripped off the wall or left dangling, nowhere to put a toothbrush or towel for example.
The heating was on full all night, no way of adjusting. The window latches had been snapped off so no way of keeping the window open without the use of a coat hanger.
Terrible deco in bedroom. This was on the third floor, room 307.
Public spaces looked very sad and in desperate need of decorating.
Overall, it made our first stay in Dublin a bit grim.
