it's typical of the way value hotels are designed these days. Stylish and comfortable lobby, Nice bar. Tiny rooms. But as long as you know that's what to expect it's fine. And I thought the room rate for what we had was reasonable. Our room was clean and compact, 1 full bed for 2 people. Bathroom was compact but modern with good shower. The heat worked well. But there was no place to open suitcases other than on the floor and we were stepping over them a bit and stepping around each other. The staff was nice and made a point of being helpful. Most were Eastern European and 1 or 2 could use a little more work on their English. The hotel is at the upper end of O'Connell Street which is walkable to everything we wanted to do and there were plenty of trams and buses within a block. We did wind up walking up and down O'Connell Street several times the first day we arrive and it's not the most interesting street. But the unlimited LEAP card allowed us to just hop on transit after that.

Hotel was nice. Breakfast was the best we had so far in Ireland. Our room was TINY. Two twin beds and barely room to walk around. But comfortable.

Point A was a great intro for our first trip to Dublin. While the two twin bed room could have used abt 2 extra feet all around, it was perfect. We had a window to cook our room. There was plenty of wash soap for body, hair, and hands. It was clean. It even had extra light options to dim! It was a perfect home base for us to sight see. And the breakfast is worth the few euros. A lot of quality food! I would book again in a heart beat!
