"We had a lovely stay at the Sandymount Hotel in Dublin! The hotel is charming, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was also great. It was quiet enough to relax but convenient for getting around Dublin.
Our only real complaint was the elevator being out of order. After a long day of sightseeing, discovering that our room was basically at the top of a small mountain was not exactly the Irish adventure we had in mind!Lugging suitcases up the stairs was definitely a workout we hadn’t packed for. Thankfully a gracious porter carried mine. My husband, however, was left to fend for himself.
That said, the wonderful staff and overall experience more than made up for the elevator situation. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back, assuming the elevator has decided to cooperate by then!"
