The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location for walking distance to the Old Town, and everywhere else we went was a short Uber ride from there.

The room was clean, with a comfy bed and pillows, and a nice bathroom. The room we had is a little apartment with a tiny kitchen area with fridge, and a nice balcony to enjoy outside. There is also a nice private courtyard patio with tables at the front of the hotel. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk down many stairs to Old Town. As the walk back to Villa Dard is uphill, we were happy to find the number 3 bus which stops basically across the road from Villa Dard.

The Villa Dard is operated by a family. We found the family to be extremely helpful & accommodating. They made solid recommendations for activities & restaurants. It is an excellent location & convenient to the old town. It is up on the hill providing a great view from our balcony. The sunset was stunning. We recommend booking breakfast. It’s a good way to start the day.

Fantastic Place. Highly recommend.

We loved our four days here. 20 minutes from airport, right across the street from Old Town and very clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and had good directions.

Nice apartment for our family, we could park at hotel which was great for Dubrovnik. About 15 min walk to the wall and we used Uber back as lots of steps. Family run and lady who checked us in very helpful.

Large, comfortable room near historic center

Great location about a 15 minute walk to the historic center. I loved being close enough to walk to everything but also not in the middle of the chaos. They offered parking for my car and the service was great. My room was unexpectedly huge and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Very convenient place to stay. Room was comfortable. It's a family home and owners are relaxed and helpful. Expedia listed laundry facilities on site however that wasn't the case. We used the nicest public laundry just a short walk from Villa Dard. We didn't need our car so it was parked onsite for 3 days.

Close to the old city

The villa is a nice, family run operation, a 10 minutes walk (maybe 15 back up the hill) from the Pile Gate entrance into the old city. Our room came complete with a living room area and balcony, in addition to the expected bedroom and bathroom, and was comfortable and well kept. The warm, helpful welcome was an added bonus. And, by Dubrovnik standards, our stay was very good value.

We have just come home after a fabulous holiday in Dubrovnik at Villa Dard. Andrea was such a great host, going the extra mile to make sure our stay was wonderful. Would also recommend having the breakfast, a good start to the day. Villa Dard is a small family run hotel, close to the old city. We felt at home immediatley and stayed in one of the flats on the 3rd floor. The flat had a balcony where you could sit down and relax and look at the beautiful sea. We would definitely recommend staying here if you go to beautiful Dubrovnik.

Positive: comfortable room and bed; very clean; substantial breakfast (additional 15 euros/day) served to table; independent HVAC; nice owners; owner parked car and brought luggage to room; reasonable cost. Negative: no elevator; 1-3 floor walk-up; tight bathroom; tight shower; no place to put soap or shampoo in shower; distant walk downhill to old city, but don’t even try to walk back uphill; no meals aside from breakfast (hotel is part of owner’s home) and no restaurants or shops within a reasonable distance (residential area); no on-site parking aside from unloading at arrival and loading at departure (owner took care of off-site parking on arrival and returned the car upon departure); located on busy thoroughfare.

Very quaint. Everything was very warm and comfortable, clean, breakfast was good. The only downside was that it is on a very busy road so if you have a terrace attached to your room, it could get very noisy.

It is a family run property. Everything was good except the fact they are on a main road and the traffic noise was pretty loud. The proprietors were very lovely people and were very helpful. One thing to note, there is no elevator.

They don't have anyone present at all times but when the staff is around, they are helpful. The location was good if you only want to go to old town and sight see by other than that things were pretty far for us. It was an overall pleasant stay, we would recommend it to friends!
