“Main issue with the property is it’s location, the state of the access road which is narrow and full of pot holes and some of the rooms. They gave us a room in the attic which was more like a closet turned into a room. The bed was small and not comfortable. We were jet lagged and woke up late so couldn’t try the breakfast, but we did try the bar which was good but overpriced.”

“Atholl house was one of our most favorite stays during our 14 day adventure. From check in to check out we felt so at home and cared for. It is a place you can truly kick back and relax like you are at home. So many thoughtful details have been put into place to make sure you have a comfortable stay. “A very pleasant stay. Breakfast and evening meals were particularly good. The evening meals can easily compete with any good restaurant on the island. A gem. The hotel is remote. There is a 2-mile narrow road with potholes to navigate to get to the property. Consequently, I left in the morning and returned late afternoon, spending the day on other activities. The hotel has a retreat-like quality. The sunroom is a wonderful space for rest and contemplation, or reading and games and conversation....
