close to nature - a minute walk to the river and park beside the property internet between 7 to 10pm was very slow (peak time) otherwise all other time was very good

Wonderful accommodation

It was pleasant! Beryl was wonderful and helpful and cheerful and accommodating as the park manager, the facilities were warm, excellent, in a very nice and clean state, it had plenty of tea and coffee facilities, it was beautifully quiet and peaceful, I would give it 10/10! It was a reasonable price and I felt I got my moneys worth! A lovely place to stay,I'm so impressed that I have booked again!

Highly recommended.

We stayed in one of the tourist flat. It's like a miniature motel with the kitchenette. It is modern looking and clean with comfortable beds. It is off the main road so it was nice and quiet. Handy location - only 5 minutes from the university and 3k to the Octagon (city centre). Nice walk in the native bush from the river that runs along the side of the property. Over all, we had a wonderful stay and the friendly staff add to our overall experience.

The tourist apartment we booked is rather a tight fit, and while it can probably comfortably fit four people, five was way too much. We had to make use of the couch bed, which took up all of the tiny living area and made moving around the apartment near impossible. Also, the mattress on it wasn't great, so not exactly a comfortable night's sleep. The built-in bunk beds in the bedroom and overall aesthetic of the interior were very charming, though. :-) Also, parking was not enforced, and someone else ended up taking our dedicated spot, and we had to double-park overnight as a result, but all's well that ends well.

The bed was completely broken and when we complained we were told “it is what it is”. We were also charged for the face cloths when we left, because we left marks on them.

Good option for a big family.

We had a quick overnight. The service was great, friendly front desk and very quick and responsive communication. The room was simple, beds a bit too soft for my liking, but overall exactly what we needed for the night. We were a group of six and fit well. Even cooked breakfast in the morning got extra savings, thanks!
