"What a beach view and wonderful access to the beach itself. The staff was great - very friendly - and anything missing in the suite, they were quick to bring it up. The restaurant is not open past breakfast on Monday and Tuesday, and it's just as well. The food was pricey and was only ok to not so good. Fortunately it was easy to get deliveries and there are lots of good places close by. The TIKI bar never opened during our Monday - Thursday stay. The jets weren't working in the common hot tub. We had a broken closet door - not a big deal. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Parking was easy. The shower can be a little challenging to get in and out of. Overall, the family had a great time. My wife and I shared the bedroom with our daughter and our sons slept on the pullout in the living room. Loved having two toilets. Worked well for a family of five."

"Housekeeping staff was a hot mess. Rude. Missed a day of cleaning my room. When they did finally come late the next day, they didn’t do anything apart from empty a trash can. Left the beds unmade, dumped a pile of towels on the surface all bunched up and had hairs on them. The housekeeping staff were also lined up in the morning at the coffee stations getting drinks and would not move out of the way for the guests. No printer in the Business Centre, had to ask front desk to print some papers off for me. Front desk staff and Manager were great. Would not stay here again."

"Let me start out by saying this place is very nice, beautiful landscape, love the pool bar, and the views of ocean and intercoastal waterway is Amazing!!! We have been coming here since it was Blockade Runner and have always had a great experience. The only complaint I have is that the past three visits in the prime vacation time we get a text as soon as we get there stating the pool is closed for maintenance!! To me that is unexcusable for the prices they charge and that is one of the things they advertise, for us my family we are all adults so we went to the ocean but for families that have very small kids and several kids, what a disappointment that is when you are looking forward to enjoying that and it was still closed when we left each time, I don't know what the issue is but they need to spend the money to get it fixed instead of just doing a quick fix."

"This was our second time staying there and we did not have any issues either time. we did not us the pool or the exercise room so I cannot comment on those. Breakfast was pretty well the standard continental breakfast that most hotels serve."

"A lot of things seemed outdated and grungy. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The TV in our room didn’t work, we told the desk and they didn’t come fix it. There were stains on the carpet, and our floor smelled like a portapotty the whole trip. Our room was big though, and the common areas are nice."
