Silver Gull is a charming smaller hotel that offered a really comfortable experience. The location was fantastic, with direct beach access. Our room had a side view overlooking the pier—traffic was steady but never disruptive. The room was surprisingly spacious and included a full kitchenette, which is a great perk for families or longer stays. We appreciated the free covered parking. There’s only one restaurant/bar close by, so you’ll need to walk a bit or drive for more dining options, but having a kitchen helps. While it’s not a luxury resort, it delivers a warm, relaxed stay in an unbeatable spot.

For a two-star hotel, the Silver Gull did very well! The location could not be any better, and for the most part the room and surrounds were clean and comfortable. The motel has seen better days, as the salt air and sand do take their toll. Most everything needs an update but AOK overall. Staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions. Great to have parking on site!....but...be careful as the spaces are very small (not meant for today's SUVs) and maneuvering is difficult. Many cars have scraped the cement pillars! Good value for the area, and we would go back.
