โSince it is made of wood made by furniture, I was very surprised that a spoon-sized cockroach entered between the floor and the gap between the furniture. I'm from Korea, but there's no big cockroach in Korea. It was at least 3 times bigger! It's noisy around, but it's rather attractive because its wonderful bars and atmosphere to enjoy of Austin. The room is big and comfortable. The bedding is clean and the cushion is good.

โThe area where the hotel was located was sketchy but in all honesty it was just fine. The hotel itself was great! Service was excellent and they had daily specials which were awesome! They had a day with a tray of lasagna and cooler filled with adult drinks and refreshments, complimentary. We went with our family of 5 and had such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back here!โ
โWe decided on a quick trip to Austin. We did not want to stay directly in Austin. After a short search we found The Ruby. It looked fun. We booked for 2 nights. It was lovely. Quirky, and cozy. Would have loved to stay longer but we had to get homeโ
โOne of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in! This quaint little hotel was beautifully decorated and had a community patio that had complimentary drinks and several board games and tarot cards that were free to use as well. Our room and bathroom were GORGEOUS. They provide Hulu on their smart TV which was a nice plus. The hotel is also located by several shops and bars that are within walking distance. They only have four parking spots behind the building, but there's street parking...

โI had an amazing stay at this location, it exceeded my expectations. Itโs located close enough to downtown and yet not square in the middle of the city. I took a great walk down to a park that is a few blocks away through a very peaceful neighborhood with many food options located relatively close.
I would certainly come back next time I am in Austin!โ
โThe Retro Cowboy Villa was perfect for what we needed. Residential area but super convenient to many bars, restaurants as well as downtown and the airport.
Space was well decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The backyard was also phenomenal - great hang out space, amazing hot tub and cute lighting made the space picture perfect.
We ran into a few cleaning and sanitation issues while onsite which we reported to the host for future travelers and they mentioned they recently switched...
