"I didn't know what to expect coming here. 1. Pool 10/10 For non-club members I think you only get to 1 pool. But... it's awesome and spans pretty much the whole beach side of the the resort! I was very impressed. 2. Rooms 10/10 Very clean and very nice on the inside. I've been to a lot of resorts that were more recently built and I would put it higher than those resorts. 3. Property 10/10 This property has charm! They have gardens that you can walk through that are amazing. The beachfront is very picturesque would compete with the best of them. Mountains in the front and palm trees and beaches in the back! 4. Food 9/10 The restaurants were good, but I mean it's resort food. So I've never went to a resort where the food wasn't better at a good restaurant off site. But for resort food it was great and you don't have to go through the hassle of finding a restaurant. Plus it's included! My favorite was Oregano, and Spice but everyone has different opinions. 5. Beach 8/10 The beach is very pretty, based on the resorts location though the waters are rough. It does have a bit of seaweed but the resort does it's best to clean it. Both of these are a location factor not something the resort can really fix. Give this place a try!"
Excellence Carmen Punta Cana - Adults Only All Inclusive

"This is my second time at Excellence El Carmen, I come back to Punta Cana just for this resort. The food here is amazing. You typically don't get this high quality with an all-inclusive resort and they deliver. You can literally order a tomahawk steak that is included as all-inclusive, most resorts that is a separate charge. The hibachi restaurant is great too. Had lobster on the beach, and my favorite every day was the breakfast buffet and their coffee shop. I am a bit of a gym rat, and this place has one of the best if not the best gyms I've ever been to at a resort. Something for everyone. Great drinks and bartenders. Staff makes sure you're having a great time. Spa was great as well. Once of the best massages both my fiancé and I have had together. She even said this was the best resort she has ever been to. Love this place and we'll definitely be back again soon. I typically do 2 to 3 trips a year and have been for at least 20 years."

"Desde que llegue me recibieron con amabilidad y prontitud, todo el personal fue muy amable siempre, el entretenimiento en las piscinas y en la playa es variado y divertido...la comida y las bebidas excelentes...la habitacion muy bien acomodada, espaciosa y muy limpia. Sobre el grupo de animadores, cada uno de ellos muy professional, respetuosos y muy dedicados a entretener a los huespedes interactuando con el publico que asiste a sus presentaciones...el check out muy rapido y sin complicaciones...este resort tiene casino tambien, me encanto que ademas de los restaurante buffet, tienen restaurante japones, mexicano y de carnes...tienda de souvenirs, spa, tambien tienen una clinica 24/7 por si ocurre alguna emergencia....todo en un solo lugar para ir a disfrutar de unas merecidas vacaciones. Quiero agradecer muy especialmente a Dior, quien hizo de mi estadia en Sunscape Punta Cana algo placentero e inolvidable, definitivamente volvere y lo recomendare con mi familia y amistades."
