Apparently, this hotel is rated as a five star. Based on my experiences with five star hotels, I would rate this as a 3.5 star resort at most. Anything more would be really pushing it. I would rate the food as a C minus; The service was a B minus. At times, they were good, but they were very inconsistent. You would not see them very often around the pools or beaches. Most of the time we served ourselves. Many of them did not seem friendly or polite. The rooms Were very uncomfortable. We stayed at the romance suite swim up. The room was very uncomfortably warm the whole week we stayed there. The temperature in the room never dropped below 73°F. We had to borrow a fan from the concierge every night. They tried their best to fix it, but could never solve the problem and there were no other rooms available to switch to. The only thing I will give an A Plus to at the resort is the gym and the spa. They had the state of the art facilities and all the equipment that I needed. If you are discriminatory traveler like me, I would say this resort will be a dice roll for you.

Overall we had an excellent stay. We traveled as three couples. Check in was fairly easy everyone was extra nice. The only issue for me with that process was that there are NO elevators to get to your room. 👀👀👀 as someone with back issues it was a deal breaker to have to trek to the third floor several times a day. With a little maneuvering they found me the same category room on the second level (romance suite). The butler meets you at checkin. Our butler Norielis was top notch…EXCELLENT. She handled all wants and needs expeditiously. From dinner reservations to decorating our rooms for our special occasions she was on her job. She provided birthday cakes…champagne…arranged shuttles between resorts helped arrange excursions and much more…she gets a 10 out of 5 🙌 If you had any question you could just text her. She also texted every day with the list of entertainment and happenings for the day. The beach had beautiful clear water and plenty of loungers. The pool with the pool bar was okaaaay but there weren’t any loungers left really if you got out there after early morning even though there were no where near as many people in the pool. so swimup rooms are much better. The beach hut grill Was VERY good…very tasty shrimp, fish fingers and grilled steak. For me the rest of the restaurants were just okay the food was just blah with the exception of the Argentenia restaurant. The food was really tasty there. We would definitely go back again…we had a great time!

Me and 6 of my girl friends came for a 5 night stay. Rodny was our butler and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. I would definitely stay again if Rodny was our butler. The entertainment staff was also very kind and personable. It was a wonderful girls trip!

This was my 7th or 8th time at TRS. We are always greeted by Randy our butler. Johanna was also very helpful. The property is always immaculate and the staff make you feel like family. Thank you again to Randy, Wandy, Johanna, Felix, and Americo for your kindness. Will be back in a few months!
