“Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. “The hotel stay was excellent, my whole family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teens) loved this hotel. We booked a studio room (double bed and a bunk bed). Room was very clean with a small kitchen area, dining table and a sofa. It is close to ski station and many eateries within walking distance. The reception area at level 4 was superb! You can just sit and relax at the lounge area there, relaxing and enjoyjng the beautiful mountain scenery. Our boys loved to play chess at the lounge area. There is...
