Pleasant stay and amazing service.

Excellent host who was beyond amazing, arrived late but the gentleman at reception waited an extra couple of minutes or so, also helped me with my luggage. Hotel was rather good for the price and had a wonderful seafront view. Bed was comfortable which is exactly what you need for a pleasant stay.

Another great stay at the Oban, Eastbourne

I have stayed here a few times and have always been treated very well. Judan at Reception is very kind and provides great guest service and housekeeping is very good too. The location is fantastic, with the beach across the road, restaurants and town centre within easy walking distance. I will definitely be back!

Thank you for a great stay in Eastbourne.

I really like this hotel. Not having restaurant or bar facilities doesn’t bother me as it’s location on the sea front within walking distance of the town centre more than makes up for this. Also, I have always had exceptional service from the staff and the rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. It is great value for money too.

Excellent location.

The room i was initially booked into had not been cleaned when i arrived. I reported this and was met with excellent service and my room was upgraded at once to compensate. The hotel is well situated with best view of the sea ive experienced in all the hotels ive stayed at in Eastbourn. Standards were good for the price. Not really luxury but perfectly ok.

When I arrived in my room the Cleanliness could have been better. Overall amenities were good, bed comfortable and staff very welcoming.

It's more like a hostel than a hotel. No amenities and not even a reception, it's all done via an intercom. The photos make it look a lot better than it is but it was cheap aand in a goo location.

Fantastic location, if you get a sea facing room, Lift wasnt working, looked like it hadnt in a while. For 1 night stay, it was ok , tiny little single room. No breakfast that I saw.

Great for a budget hotel stay - fabulous location.

Check-in/reception desk is open 2-10pm, Junaed at reception was very welcoming and friendly. Very easy key drop check-out. Single room was dated and small but clean with a fabulous sea view - could hear the waves with the window open. Great location in a nice part of town. Parking would have been easier if the council hadn't closed the main road for the upcoming airshow - allow extra time for this if arriving in mid August.

Ok for £65

Hotel was very cheap at £65. It was ok for this amount but very dated and shabby decor. Shower had hot water but not really working. Bed was large and clean. Tea and coffee fine. No lift so not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Not to bad hotel bed very comfortable hotel was quiet so peaceful sleep you cannot check in till 3 pm it was pouring with rain we ask if we could leave our bags they said no so we had to find a dry place to sit in till 3pm
