The hotel is located inside an old woolen mill factory. It has been recently restored and renovated to create overnight and venue services. The rooms are large and airy with stylish decor and there are inviting public spaces throughout. The furnishing are upscale and serval tools and machines from the original factory are included in artistic touches throughout. The restaurant offered delicious meals at a reasonable rate. Really nice hotel that is run in conjunction with the local college hospitality program. During school year, students work at the hotel in various capacities. Bartender in the lobby was super nice. There is a free tasting of local wines in the lobby in the evenings. Rooms are very nice. Out of the city location, but there is a shuttle to downtown available.

I liked the friendliness of the owners and staff. The breakfast was incredible.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Lefevre Inn and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The resort is small (only 11 rooms and a few cabins), so it is quiet and low-key. No offense to Moline but I never expects a property like this in Moline. If this hotel were in Chicago it would easily be $300 per night for the King Bed room we had. Beautiful property and great rooms and bathrooms. Free parking in garage behind with convenient access to hotel.

This was our last stop on a trip from California to Illinois and it was everything my friend and I needed! Excellent service, wonderful bar/restaurant overlooking the city, pool and hot tub to soak weary bones, beds that were incredibly difficult to get out of, just the kind of vibe we were looking for!

The Fairfield Inn was a great place - great staff, really nice room, quiet even though the place was full, breakfast was great, and great location. Would stay there again and often when in the area.

Booked a king size "contemporary" room. Room was very nice and spacious although I wouldn't call it contemporary but more "retro", which is not a bad thing. Was one of the most interesting hotel rooms I've booked. Would definitely stay here again but would like to try one of the rooms in the main building. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Cedar Falls, IA area.

We found the hotel to have stately dignity. It's an old hotel that has been modernized, yet retains historical class. One disappointment was the description of a "kitchenette" in the room when actually it was a cabinet with a small refrigerator in the lower level and a microwave in the upper level.
