I cannot wait to stay at this motel again - walking into my room was like walking into the mid century era!! 😍 Almost everything in the room was original and in EXCELLENT mid century condition. They have really looked after their rooms, including the bathrooms! If you like vintage or mid century, you HAVE to stay here! I miss my room!! ☹️ My room was also massive (I booked a king bed room with a water view). The grounds are nice, with pretty flowers planted all around. Jason at reception was very helpful pre and post booking.

The family room we stayed in was big, quiet and clean. You can also see the sea view from the window. The only thing is that the facilities are a bit old, but it is worth the price.

Inside the room was fresh and clean with basic facilities for self-catering. However, noise from the neighbouring room was intrusive. Thankfully they took a hint at a reasonable time. Outside the building is showing its age with signs of low-budget maintenance and nothing to enjoy in the grounds. Beware the card surcharge adding a few dollars without notice. Very few local meals options within 1km walking distance on a Monday night, even in peak season.

Room was mostly clean, under the beds could've used with a vacuum. (Having kids constantly getting on and off and the beds on wheels they do move about a bit) Shower curtain could've done with a change, was a bit mouldy and discoloured. Room had a good view of the bay.
