Just opposite Shanaz is a supermarket and a phamacy. Beside it are banks and lovely restaurants. The property is on the beach. One can go swimming, kayaking and just lounging just at the backyard. "

"We love our stay in Mer Riviere, is a very nice place, very safe, comfortable and close to the beach (walking distance). Nadia the property owner/administrator was super attentive and friendly. She was always there when we need her, specially when my mom got sick. Also she give us a very nice welcome with some delicious fresh coconuts. "The hosts were really accommodating, fast in their response times and went out of their way to help us, even including help with finding shops, dropping us off in out of the way places, etc. The breakfast, too was excellent and the location relative to the airport with great sea views etc was perfect."

"The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with a good kitchen and bathrooms it is well located to several grocery stores and to the beach. The beach is a very good swimming beach with little surf and dip enough water. The beach restaurant offers good food and good service, has well has free beach’s chairs. They is also a good takeout place near by. The bus stop to Victoria is near by. The management is professional and friendly. "

"TV wasn’t working, no toiletries, no dishwashing soap, no kitchen towels or toilet papers. We paid extra €60 for wifi but it wasn’t working (got the refund on the last day). The only good thing was the buggy that was allocated for each apartment which made it easy to get around the island. Eden plaza is overpriced better to shop outside the plaza. "

"There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position. The hot water tank is very small resulting in all but the briefest of showers running cold. The air conditioning was ineffective, blowing warm air. Even when left on overnight it did not get within 5 degrees Celsius...

"Paid for this hotel for a client through expedia and client got there only to find out it was fully booked.The hotel and epedia left him stranded. Refund has been processed as they claim but we are yet to get it.both the hotel and expedia did so badly this time"
