The Mercure is clean but the decor is tired and in need of refurbishment. The reception staff are worth the 5 stars in my review - they are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Truly wonderful staff. Even the cleaners were friendly - so refreshing.

Great hotel

Always use this hotel when visiting the area. Plenty of free car parking which is a huge bonus Staff are absolutely superb. Room was decent with such a comfy bed as well.

This was our last night before we flew home, and we were very thankful that the beds were comfortable, and the shower was one of the best! The staff were very helpful, and the parking was nice because it was close and free. A great stay.

Great hotel

This is our 2nd visit as it’s a lovely hotel. The staff throughout the whole hotel are amazing. They are all so friendly and helpful. Last time was an overnight stay, this time was for the weekend so we ate in the hotel. Breakfast is fabulous - a great choice of food. Had 1 dinner and the food was great and service quick. Thoroughly recommended!!
