Nous étions en famille (4 personnes) et étions dans les chambres à l'arrière du bâtiment dans la cour (probablement d'anciens garages). Chambre très grande, bien équipée (frigo, micro ondes, bouilloire, armoire). Parc Nationale juste en face de l'hotel, Port d'Edinbourd à 10 minutes, 5 minutes du Tram à pied qui vous emmène au centre ville et à l'aéroport directement, vraiment emplacement super ! Commerces et Supermarché LIDL à proximité. Seul bémol que nous avons, et l'hotel n'y est pas pour grand chose, sauf l'isolation, c'est que sur l'une des trois nuits que nous avons passé à l'hotel, nous avons eu des voisins très bruyants pendant une bonne partie de la nuit.

I had an excellent stay. The place was quiet and very clean. I found the beds very comfortable compared to other hotels, and the location was close to lots of things! The staff were very responsive and extremely kind! I 100% recommend this hotel !!

Muito bem localizado. Um parque lindo a frente e com comercio e transporte perto. Sentimos falta do keycode antes de chegarmos ao local. Não há recepção e por isso foi dificil entrar e conseguir a chave do quarto. No mais, quarto grande, simples e atendeu bem a gente! Bom wifi!

It’s an auto check-in, no staff. Everything worked fine. Rooms are decent and is a suitable, inexpensive place to stay. Not much to do in the area, although the Persevere Pub is an excellent stop for a pint and food.

For festival time is was pretty reasonably priced, but some of the beds in our room were not comfortable to sleep on (you could feel the springs), and the room was not well ventilated and overheated during the night. We were at least within walking distance of a tram station, and several good places to eat.

Draps, serviettes et salle de bain propres, mais chambre très vétuste et un peu délabrée. Et les cloisons avec les chambres d'à côté sont fines. Mais la chambre est idéalement placée à proximité des transports pour visiter Edimbourg et avec un parking gratuit très pratique.

Liked having instant hot water in the shower! The walls were thin. We could hear the neighbors The fan was a nice addition for white noise at night. Our room was off the parking in the back which was nice but we didn't know that until we carried our bags up and down some stairs after we entered from the front. Good space for a family.

The property was well situated with a large park opposite, a supermarket, multiple eating establishments and bus stops all within 5-10 minutes’ walk. With no reception, the property was supposed to email us 24 hours before check in with the building access code. It never arrived by email and I had to escalate to Expedia. The code eventually arrived via message in the Expedia app, only a few hours before we were due to check in. The room was large enough for three adults, but it had no air conditioning (temperature was 38 degrees Celsius). After the first night and multiple showers to cool off, our towels were soaked. We left them on the bathroom floor, expecting them to be replaced by the time we returned from sightseeing. They were not and we were forced to shower and dry with paper towels we had to purchase. Multiple calls to the remote reception desk went unanswered. My wife eventually found two towels in a drawer near the phone. We went on a day trip again the next day and when we returned at 3pm the room had not been cleaned and we still had no towels. Eventually located the cleaning staff who were onsite and finally secured fresh towels. The accommodation would be better suited to backpackers used to “roughing it”, but I doubt they could afford the high tariffs. For a room that was meant to accommodate 5 adults, they needed far more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Other weirdness: the shower was only controllable by an electrical switch outside the bathroom.

It was not okay since there was a bed with a broken leg. Also we booked for 2 nights and we went out and put a make my room card but all they did was just take the bin out and didn’t do the bed or clean the room for us.

We chose this as a budget option prior to festival. It was exactly that and would not book this place again or recommend it unless it’s your only option. We booked a 6 person room and were placed in the rooms off the parking lot in the back, not the main building. The door lock to the room was terrible. It was very loose and seemed like with a small shoulder nudge to the door, anyone could have easily broken in off the street. Not secure. The shower was an absolute trickle of water and the last two days we had no hot water. Spiders in the shower. The sheets seemed maybe clean but were stained. The rolling shade curtain on the window was very tattered. No privacy if it’s open at all. Can easily hear the neighboring rooms. Two of the beds were very poor - you could feel the springs when laying on them. The cloth chairs in the room were very visibly stained. Check in was easy with a key pick up and lock. We didn’t interact in person with any staff. We had a question when we were there and the staff was responsive quickly through the messaging app. The area seems like mostly locals and safe. Not nice. But not unsafe at all. Very close to bus stop.

There were several nice cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby, and I loved that it was right across from a park. The place was quiet and roomy enough for our family of five. It was a nice, comfortable stay for us and I would stay there again.
