“As soon as we arrived, we could smell cats, so I told the owner that we probably wouldn’t be able to stay because I’m allergic. The rules didn’t mention animals. We had just driven seven hours, and because of a family emergency at the hospital we needed to get to, we had to stay. I’d advise anyone with a cat allergy, like me, not to book. The place was beautiful, great but the smell of cats made me sneeze constantly and struggle to breathe. I had to stay the night, which left me very sick, then...

“The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff very friendly. However, before 8am there was a lot of very loud talking downstairs that unfortunately woke us up. After coming home late from a concert, it would’ve been nice to sleep in a bit. Also, breakfast is not included but there is a coffee bar that sells pastries. None of it being included. A nice breakfast outside on the porch in the cool room would’ve made the stay spectacular.”
