“Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.”

“Charming little pub with lots of cool original features. Large bedroom and a comfortable bed. Everything works really well. Now, the food at this place is honestly on another level. I have never had any food inside a pub this good. This pub is well known for serving up some of the best food. Locals are highly complimentary about the dining experience here.”

“We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected.
