This is a 5-star hot springs/onsen resort tastefully decorated, beautifully maintained and luxurious in every way. You won't regret staying here! We loved every moment here and wished we could have stayed longer.

Staff was very helpful, and patient with translation. Easy to navigate and find items (laundry, ice machine, etc.). Very clean, room was very well kept.

This hotel is about a ten minute walk from Fukui station. It does seem to be an older hotel, but it looks like it has been lovingly taken care of. They are incredibly generous with their offerings to try and enhance their guests experience. There is a shampoo/conditioner/body soap bar where you can get a little plastic container to bring one of the items you want to try up to your room. There is also already shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, and a toothbrush and toothpaste set per...

The one night stay at this Japanese onsen hotel was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is only 20 minutes by bullet train from Kanazawa train station. Hotel provided free shuttle pick up from the Kaga Onsen train station.

Hanamurasaki is beautiful in almost every way. The rooms are huge and gorgeous, everything is spotlessly clean, and the location relative to the river and the rest of town is perfect. Our room had a private outdoor mineral bath. Yes, it’s very expensive, but we definitely feel like it was a worthy experience. We had omakase dinners five of our first 10 nights in Japan and our only complaint about Hanamurasaki would be that the omakase dinners were a little too hard-core Japanese for us. Most of...

Nice staff, great restaurant on site and great location. The hotel is a little dated but very clean and well maintained

This was my first hotel in Japan. Great value for the quality of the stay. The location has plenty to offer in a walkable distance, including close proximity to the Shinkansen (bullet train). I staid here to be able to visit Daihonzan Eiheiji. The bus to Eiheiji temple is at the transportation center where the Shinkansen and other trains depart.

Standard Japanese hotel (somewhat small room, onsen available, etc.), but the breakfast was great and they have a map of recommended places for dinner. There are a couple of parking spots at the hotel, a few more spots a block down the street, etc. (there's a map of parking spots on the side of the hotel).
