"I stayed here a couple times when I went to Barcelona. The place is unbelievable! Staff, breakfast, rooms and amenities are above what you would expect for the money. Security! You can’t even have the elevator move unless you have a room key and key only allows you to your floor! You won’t find a better breakfast! Mind blowing choices. And the location is in the best part of town. Everything is within walking distance coast as well. Don’t waste time looking elsewhere. This is where you want to be!"

"Room was very hot and they were not able to cool it because it was January? They told us to open the window, but we were facing the cathedral, and the bell rang every 15 minutes and people were partying most of the night so not much sleep."

"Such a disappointing stay. At check in the room wasn’t ready and I was asked on which floor I preferred to stay, without specifying that there would be a difference in the fare. No information was given on breakfast timings and location, spa access and other practicalities. Staff were polite but not warm, as if they didn’t care. I chose a room with “city view” which turned out to be looking at a building site. It is unacceptable to charge a “view” on it, at least until it is completed. SPA access is not free. It is charged extra and even though I was prepared to pay, nobody mentioned the opening hours, so I could not go. The location is also not great and is dirty and with very little outside. Unfortunately the positive sides are overshadowed by the whole general negative experience. A real disappointment from such an establishment. "

"Do not stay here it is over an electronic disco rave bar. Noise was torture. Never slept until bar closed at 5am. Whole building shook. The music could be used to torture prisoners. Tried sleeping with noise canceling headphones and pillows over our heads."

"Very well located on a main street, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Metro station very close by. 10 - 15 mins walk to the Cathedral. 20 mins roughly to La Rambla. A modern hotel, with large clean rooms and walk in showers. Nice big restaurant serving great breakfasts (lots of choice). Also serve evening meals. Pleasant, helpful staff. Very good value. Would definitely stay there again."
