Good location near to a metro station. The area wasn't the most salubrious of Barcelona but it was perfectly safe. We regularly walked back to the hotel at about 10.00 pm and it was still busy and felt safe. The room we were allocated was near to the public lobby area and we had issues with noise during the early hours. Once at 1.30 am and once at 4.30 am. It was used as a communal smoker area. We had to report it to the hotel staff. Apart from that no issues.
