“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. “Shame to see old school honeymoon resorts fall out of favor with the now crowd. Falling revenue and climbing maintenance is strangling this once iconic resort. The staff appears to love what they do and do it exceptionally well. They do their best with what they have and made my stay an enjoyable one, adding a check to a bucket list item.
