“The staff at the reception and breakfast were welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately the property was old and looks difficult to maintain and the initial room given to us smelt mouldy setting off my hay fever and partners asthma. Reception quickly gave us another room which was better. Shower and breakfast was nice and the stay was overall pleasant.”

“Room large and spotlessly clean . Hadn't realised when booked it was shared bathroom wondered why it was cheap . Bathroom. Though again spotlessly clean . Great toilet seat 😃 There's only three rooms and I think I was the only one staying there . Would recommend.”

“Beautifully manor house just outside of Chester with plenty of free parking. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of space to relax in the bar area as well as a terrace. Good value for money.”

“Great room and hotel, easy self check in very straight forward. the corridor outside our room room 146 hadn’t been cleaned when we checked in at 3pm, empty bottles, clusters of balloons, glasses all stacked boxes on the floor, rubbish etc and was still there when we checked out in the morning, just a bit of an eyesore when going in and out the room. Great service at the bar and the room was great.”

“The first room we were given smelled of steel cigarettes smoke and some sort of sickly sweet antiseptic. You can't open the windows to air the place out so we asked for an alternative room. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the sofa bed was well past its best being very saggy indeed. The breakfast was on a par with your average rep motel.
Stuff were helpful if a little clueless.”
