"Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very modern and lovely & clean. When we did stay it was a very hot weekend where the room was hot, would of been nice if there was a fan in the room that we could of used. Free parking which is an added bonus. Only short walk into Colchesters main town. Would recommend to anyone."

"Birds farm is a lovely place to stay for the local Essex or Sussex area. Very quiet in the evenings, despite being just off a busy road. Sykes Cottages trying to scam us out of money for property damage that is unreasonable and without evidence. They send a message via their website that has no way of responding to except for Whatsapp. But no one monitors or replies via whatsapp. "
