“I was scammed. I’ve been in 6 other boutique hotels in Ontario over the last year at $500 per night. This hotel charged $500 a night and is nowhere near the quality one should expect at that price. No ice and none provided (cheap) No room turn (cheap) Not allows to change the temperature (cheap) Not permitted to wear shoes in main hotel (weird) The TV was jammed in a cabinet on an angle because it could fit properly. (Cheap + weird) Cafeteria styled collective sitting for breakfast....

“We stayed overnight for a wedding, we were running late and staff made sure we were checked in early and quickly so we could quickly freshen up in the room before the ceremony. Hotel and room was very clean and breakfast had a good variety and was tasty.”

“Overall the charm of this Victorian renovated home was lovely. It is a bit faded in its grandeur and could use a good scrub the baseboards and new coat of paint here and there. Because there is no one resident on the property, we could not ask for things that might have made our stay more comfortable. It’s a lovely home with comfortable beds and amenities as listed but without the extra personal attention of the usual B&B. I recommend it if you take this into account.”
