This Inn was packed full of old world charm. They offer period inspired decor with modern amenities. The room came with a delicious breakfast served in a sunny solarium. You also had the option to eat on the patio surrounded by gardens. Their staff provide the best engaging customer service. Wonderful experience.
Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, breakfast was great, tub was large.

Beautiful spacious room, extremely comfortable bed, great breakfast, quaint and quiet town, friendly staff
This was a super hotel with a great vibe and an old world feel. The pub had a wide selection of beers on tap and the breakfast in the morning was delicIus! Definetly would go back if ever in the area, thank you!
The property was nice and had good shower pressure, as well as a mat on the floor to prevent slipping. The bed was comfy the pillows were good. The problem was that the toilet in my room was dirty when I checked in.
An old stone mansion in a picturesque small town with a lot of old stone buildings. Room was very large and very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Surprised by the quality and inventiveness of the kitchen. We only ate breakfast but it was delicious and had interesting high quality options you do not find at other hotels, even high-end locations.
Dislike: having to make breakfast selection the night before - especially since breakfast was fairly pedestrian. Also, TV not working.
Like: room size. Bed. Jet tub. Parking.

Have known about it for 50 + years. Moved to LA, and when the name popped up on Expedia I thought it was my chance to stay in this charming piece of history in Fergus.
Staff were all friendly, polite, great service. Room was spacious, felt like home.
Great restaurants onsite, with awesome food, walking distance to many areas.
The rooms were very tired and need refresh. Dirty rugs on the wood floor so very easy to slip. The bathroom was hideous. It was located 4 steps down. Not appropriate for any older person. My husband had trouble to get down steps. No counter space in bathroom to put your toothbrush even. Just a pedestal sink that was broken. No door at bathroom just a disgusting curtain. The tv lacked any channels to watch. Very dated decor. The room was located in a building which I assume was a house at one point. It was beside the main inn. The outside looked lovely and gardens but the interior was musty and old. Didnโt feel safe with a key system Anybody could open that door with the simple lock that was there. No safe in the room. The worst was that there was no ac just a room fan. And heating was an electric fireplace unit in corner. Would not recommend this inn. We had no choice as we were attending wedding and needed lodging. For the price I would preferred a modern chain with amenities.
