โHoliday Inn Express never lets you down.
This was the second time we were staying in one of their hotels and I can say that it is very nice and affordable accommodation with breakfast included. We only stayed pne night this time but I wouldn't go anywhere else due to the price and breakfast option.
Nice english breakfast buffet, lovely staff,complimentary coffee and tee in the room (kettle included ๐)
Plus there are loyalty points that you can get.

โSpent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
