Good place, nothing crazy but priced fairly! Short walk to the beach and downtown was killer for us! Staff is nice and the housekeepers do a great job. We spent most of our time at moonlight beach and at the shops and restaurants downtown. The Encinitian was a great place to stay between adventures! I would definitely come back.

The rooms were big, morning staff was great, there IS breakfast, and it IS close to the beach. However the night staff was terrible and even actively hostile, the amenity fee was a surprise and included different things depending on who you talk to, and pedestrian access was unsafe especially if you have kids or people who struggle with mobility.

Clean, spacious room. The shower was amazing- the water pressure was perfect. Fitness center was efficient and clean (a bit warm so maybe put in some AC). Breakfast included- delicious! The staff are all friendly and professional. We had a beautiful view of the ocean right from our balcony. Plenty of restaurants etc nearby. Our second stay and will not be our last!

The only downside to this hotel is that there is a train that passes by at night.. so you hear the horn blaring really late at night multiple times. Staff were friendly, and room was clean.

The room was very nice. Clean and a ton of space. Beautiful ocean views. Housekeeping every day which was awesome! Location was close to everything! Drawbacks would be train whistle through out the day and night and no microwave in the room. I would definitely recommend this as a nice stay in Encinitas.
