"Problems with elevator working"

"The staff at 2 Friends Beach Hotel are exceptionally friendly and very professional from the booking until check-out. The driver even waited for 3 hours because my flight was delayed to pick me up from the airport. My questions were answered immediately and any concerns or complaints are handled promptly. I stayed for 2 nights in a Pool/Lake View Room which was very clean, had a comfortable double bed, shower with hot running water, tv, spacious wardrobe with hangers, towels, mini fridge, water, coffee, tea, sugar, water boiler, cups and glasses. There was also a hair dryer, which I found just perfect for my hair and had not expected this little detail. Restaurants are nearby and even delicious snacks and drinks are served right at the hotel. I also loved the breakfast which had all you can think of from juice to pancakes and fruits, coffee, bread and tea. The pool is spacious enough to do a little bit of swimming and refreshing on a hot day. The area is quiet and you can hear the waves break at the shore of Lake Victora. Overall this made me relax and enjoy my stay very much. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and well treated at this place. I can highly recommend 2 Friends Beach Hotel and will likely come back again on my future visits to Uganda. Thank you, Webale nyo"

"This hotel was wonderful to experience after 20 hours of flying, The pool area situated on the shores of Lake Victoria was beautiful. The food and beverage service outside was prompt and amazingly delicious. The breakfast buffet was over the top amazing. Fresh and so many choices. I always enjoy my Marriott stays but this hotel went over and above to provide personal happy service. "

Loved not having the club noise and early truck honking in Kampala core. Beautiful view toward Lake Victoria. In my 3 weeks in Uganda, this was my highlight. "

"We loved the Papyrus Guest House. The staff was super friendly and the dinner we had was excellent. There is a nice bar area to hang out at. The rooms were clean and safe but there was no air conditioning so it got a little warm for us. We felt safe while we were at the property. We did not seek to go out off the property for anything so we can't comment on that. Great value for the money. "
