It’s a great location, quiet and private feeling while also being walking distance to Mont St Michel (and even closer to the bus stop, if you want to skip the walk). "Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. "This was a special stay, not for the quality of the accommodation but because of it's location and history. Room was fairly basic but a view to die for, just spectacular. Mt St Michel is magnificent, at night it becomes magical. The abbey lit up at night was amazing. La mere Poulard was ok, friendly reception and good sized, old fashioned room with important fridge, bottled water and fan (essential for the summer). Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, charcuterie, fresh pastries and breads and freshly made gluten free bread. The rooms are dripping in history. Worth it just to experience the Mt and Abbey at night and early morning before it is swamped with visitors. Parking is off site c£35"
