“Fantastic place to visit Amalfi coast. Away from the tourists Cava de' Tirreni is a real Italian town. The hotel is an old palace, our room was superb with all amenities and our host Dario went out of his way to help. One warning, a car can be expensive to park. But the train connections are very good.”

“Lovely place. The room was bright and sunny. The place was super clean. The breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. Everything was fresh. I loved the location as it was a fairly easy walk to the restaurants and beach area, and the staff was fantastic. If I could give them more stars I would. There is an elevator which came in handy for me.”

The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). The train from Naples took us to the historic Salerno rail center and even with two rollable bags, the walk to The Holiday Guesthouse was an easy and mostly flat 12-minutes. Pasquale met us at the apartment even though we were late and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. He checked in on us several times, gave us info about the buses and ferries, dining recommendations, maps, etc. He even arranged a cab back to the train station for us.
